Besides all of the work there is to be done out here on the property, we are all also musicians. My daughter, Sam, plays Viola and has for about 8 years now. Our school district has an amazing music program and I am so thankful for that and that she got involved. I am also very proud of her for sticking with it over the years. Keith grew up playing the drums, he started banging on pots and pans as a toddler so his Grandmother bought him his first snare drum. The rest is history, he played in school bands and a private marching band which eventually led to him forming his own band. After playing in a few different bands his life went in another direction. He still plays and is so good and so patient, that he has taught me to play. Keith moved on to play electric guitar and we both play together every weekend. It's so much fun! Our love of music is something I hope will continue for the rest of our lives. And that really is the best part of learning to play an instrument. It is something you will always have no matter what.
